7/16 Saturday @ 10a – Glastonbury Partners in Planting has opened the Educational Garden for garden visits and chats. Please stop by on Saturday at 10am to view the garden, ask your questions and learn how to “Winter” Sow Seeds for your Fall Crops or to get an early start on your garden next year. Yes, you can use this “winter” method to start seeds early for your Fall and Winter crops. .
Additional Chats are scheduled throughout the season, so watch The Citizen, GPIP Facebook page or GPIP website for additional Garden Chats being offered.
The Educational Garden is located at the Town Community Gardens, Plot 68 on the East side of the Hebert T. Clark House, off Canione Rd. The Educational Garden donates produce to the House of Bread soup kitchen in downtown Hartford.
