The Indigenous Peoples of the area taught the English settlers ways to increase their food supply by sharing new plants and farming techniques. Therefore, in honor of Indigenous Peoples Day, GPIP and HSG wish to pay it forward by collecting non-perishable foods for the Glastonbury Food Pantry to help local people in need in the 21st century.
