Task: Emptying the planters. Plants are free for taking. Many make great house plants or can be overwintered for next year. (Canna rhizomes are not being given away. GPIP regrows them every year with the help of the students at Gideon Welles School.)
Tools: If you have, bring gloves, hand trowel, clippers, shovel, garden fork anything to help remove the plants. Cannas are particularly difficult at times.
