Removal and division and replanting of many perennials in both island gardens. Irises (twice blooming) are the primary task to remove. Volunteers are encouraged to bring boxes/bags to take home plants. Also avail in small quantities: dome asters and candy tuft. Please bring shovels, buckets and hand pruners. Location: The intersection of Rt. 17 & Main St. Park up the hill in the Shipman Nursery. Pickup a GPIP safety vest from the box at the bottom of the driveway on your way over to the medians.
