GPIP is partnering with the Town Parks & Rec to plant 20 trees/shrubs as the understory near the Dog Park at the Riverfront Park. A few years ago, GPIP and volunteers cleared this area of Bittersweet and other invasive plants. Planting the understory will help to defray the regrowth of invasives. Parks & Rec is doing the prep, and GPIP is planting. Dress warmly, bring your gloves, shovel, rake and personal water. Park near the Dog Park and walk the path towards Main Street or use the Main St entrance next to Brides to Be. Fall back day will be Sunday 11/24 @ 10a
