Join GPIP

Glastonbury Partners in Planting, Inc. is made up of residents working together to make our town a more beautiful place to live. Our vision for Glastonbury is a community of green places in touch with its history and growing for the future.

How can you help?
You can help by donating your time or money. It is our mission to provide both labor and funds to support planting projects.

When is the Membership period?
The membership year is Jan. 1st to Dec. 31st. New Members joining after Oct. 1st receive member benefits through the full following year.

What are the Membership dues?
There are three types of membership: Volunteer Member $25; Contributing Friend $50; and Sponsor $100 or more. Membership dues are tax deductible, are collected annually and are treated as a family/household membership.

If you are interested in volunteering, please pick a project – you may pick more than one. New Gardeners are welcome. Training is provided. We will notify the Project Chair(s) of your interest and they will reach out to you:

Partnerships

We are “Partners in Planting” for a reason. Are you able or interested in partnering with us? Some partnership examples include:

  • Landscaping – help with tree delivery, digging holes, planting trees, has use of a pickup truck, etc.
  • Plant Nursery – offering wholesale pricing or discounts to non-profits for purchase of flowers, bushes, and trees.
  • Printing Services – pamphlets, booklets, poster boards.
