Spring Clean-up. Please park off Buttonball on drive up to Shipman Nursery (do not block home driveway); please take a safety vest when crossing the street to the gardens. Chores: Late spring maintenance day. We will be trimming back winter damaged perennials, raking out the plow-damaged lawn, early spring weeding and other miscellaneous spring chores. This is an excellent learning opportunity for new gardeners. Loppers, hand clippers, manual and battery-operated hedge clippers, steel rake, leaf rake, bucket, tarp, work gloves, personal water, and a smile. Layers of warm clothes in case of cold weather. No rain date.
