The Firehouse structural renovations are just about completed. We are looking for help from two small groups of about six people each day to put the plants and two small ornamental trees in place. Both phases should each take about an hour or so. Bob Shipman will be leading the project.
Phase #1 – Friday, September 4th @ 4pm
Plant the shrubs, perennials and two small ornamental trees. Bring your small shovel, hand trowel, gloves and personal water bottle.
Phase #2 – Saturday, September 5th @ 9:30a
Mulch the plantings from Friday evening. Bring your wheelbarrow, if you have one, muscles, mulch rake, gloves and personal water bottle.
Note: There will be a planting of some big trees in about a month, so please be on the lookout for that date.
Please plan to wear a mask at both events. If you have a temperature, or feel sick, please do not attend. We will catch you on the next one.
